FAST

Fast from Tracey Elle on Vimeo.

Here it is my last animation of the summer. I got lots of traveling to do so it will be all drawings and rants from now on. I did this in a week and it was really rewarding. I got to make something fun for myself. I tried a new method this time by drawing in photoshop. Photoshop is great for design but it drives me crazy it feels so hectic and disorganized. I have a hard time working that way. I still have a million ideas for my senior piece that hasn't exactly come together yet. I am sure I will figure it out. But enough of that I have adventures to go on (specifically a 19 hrs bus ride) !!! TTYL

June 12th MORE DRAWINGS!!!

FAST

During my mini animation project I gave myself I got inspired by Lana Del Rey's song Diet Mountain Dew and thought up this really short story.  I call it "Fast" and production is alot of fun. I love day dreaming to music in the summer. This is the first time I am bringing a lazy daydream to life and it is look exactly how I want it too. I look forward to posting the completed version this week before I go on my travels.

IDEAS

This is some drafts of what may become my next piece, I learned from last time I probably gonna change my idea 6 million times so we'll see how it goes. I really have a hard time with story building my thoughts are scattered but practice makes perfect. I think my favorite part is the writing it organizes my imagination and that feels really good. My last piece had no talking in the animation but that may change this time.

So let's see a list of goals for this piece
1) Animate this Atelamise and fish character
2) Lots of acting
3) Keep it short (something I am currently failing at)
4) Show a moral (I am thinking of a lil hero story maybe or something with self acceptance or both!)
5) Keeps things light and funny

Lord knows where my ideas will go but I do know above all I want a piece that engulfs these simple but important qualities.

As for the daily sketch this week I focused on idea building for my next film so I thought I'd share that instead and next week instead of sketches I will be making 2-3 little animations.
I have some serious traveling to do after that so their will be train sketches galore. See you then!
