Tennis Courts, Casinos, and Late Nights

It is hard to believe school is gonna start again soon and I'll be a senior. Next thing you know I will be an..... adult ......ewww. Regardless of that I am having the best summer imaginable and I hope these sketches embody that. I have made so many memories and I feel like I have learned so much in such a short amount of time. I just finished my storyboard and I am making a animatic as we speak, Once again my idea has changed but I am pretty sure I will stick to this new idea. Maybe. I will be posting progress soon. TTYL internet.

Summertime saddness

My many adventures this summer included weekly camp fires and talent shows and cabin living.  Here are some fun facts about camp. When you live in a cabin there is no insolation, there is no hot water, and you get awaken in the morning by trumpet. But with my hands full each day it is hard get melancholy. I met some cool people at camp too. We got ice cream, We did karaoke and watched each other unraveling under the pressures of responsibility. Listening to kids talk can make you feel outdated and nostalgic. The real world is a strange and scary place I can get though it with some TLC and friendship. I get so down on my self sometimes I really gotta appreciate me more.  There is alot to do and no time to slow down. Enough emotional blogging back to work Tracey !

This is a picture of my favorite student
I know teachers aren't supposed to have favorites but you must remember I am no longer a teacher I am a 20 year old lady how prefers certain children over others in hindsight.

I'M BAAAAAACK

Hello internet it is so nice to see you again. After a summer of no internet and 24/7 babysitting as a camp counselor and having the world as I know it turn upside down I have returned to you with ART !!!! LOTS O ART!!!
I filled two sketch books and did some big pieces as well. I had lots to draw in the wilderness of Maine. Children make great free models. I learned alot this summer here's a list

1) Nothing is as it seems
2) Take care of your self
3) Cafeteria food sucks
4) Never have children
5) Sleep is better then money

Watching kids 24/7  for 9 weeks will make you feel 40 years old, I never felt such empathy for mothers everywhere. I did meet some kids though that were really creative They made my whole summer. The experience was important to have but I am glad to be bk in Philly. I am glad to be 20. I am grateful for alot of things in general. Being locked up in the wilderness with strangers and children will do that to you. TLC is in order this year. I need to spend lots of me time and work on my SENIOR FILM !!!! - backflip- Time to limit human interaction and hide behind the safety of my art. It is gonna feel so good. I hope This year will lead to some of my best work yet. So here is what you'll be seeing. I am gonna be uploading my summer sketches and my storyboarding progress. I will also be giving some drawing challenges a shot. What a summer
